  1. Thirty years ago I attended a three day introduction to fly fishing school. On the first morning the instructor asked why we wanted to learn fly fishing. We all said “To catch fish”. The instructor replied that if that was the case, we should all get spinning rods! I fly fish because I love the sport, not because it is the best way to catch fish.
